Layla has been teething so badly lately so.. daddy thought he could fix the problem and make the pain go away. So he bought her an ice cream cone on the way to the park. I wondered how he was going to feed it to her in the car or if it was really for him! He reached into the backseat and handed the whole thing to her!! I was scared to turn around and see the mess she was in and all I could hear was her giggling. She was so excited! Surprisingly all she wanted was a few licks and then it was too much to handle so she handed it to me. She's like her momma, she doesn't like messy hands! Wish I had it all on video.

Pumpkin Patch '08

Layla had so much fun at the pumpkin patch this year that we could hardly get enough pictures of her before she was on to the next spot. We are going back again with cousin Cameron!

Great Grandpa Schultz

Sadly right after Hurricane Ike my great grandpa schultz passed away on September 19, 2008. We will miss him so much here on earth. He never missed one of my daddy's ball games! I am so lucky that I got to meet him before he went home to heaven. He was my last living great grandpa and we will never forget him.

(Grandpa Shultz suffered from the terrible disease Alzheimer's)

Hurricane Ike!

What an adventure! I got to stay at Hampton Inn during Hurricane Ike this year. I found many things to do in our hotel suite. Like...diving on the couch or counting all the baby wipes then trying to put them back!! What a thrill. I entertained lots of friendly people at the hotel and I got to eat breakfast with Quanell x! I slept great at the hotel for mommy and daddy too.

(thank god our home is still in place and our family and friends are all okay)

We had lots of family stay at our house because of the power outages. It was fun getting all the attention! I got to eat donut holes every morning and stay up late! This is me and my cousin Tyler. He just found out he is going to have twin brothers so more cousins for me to play with!!!

My 1st Haircut!

Today was a special day. Layla got her first "professional" haircut (not counting all the times mommy has tried to snip my bangs or cut my mullet)! We still can't believe how still she was. She was very confused about the blue cape but definitely a good sport through it all!

Time Flies By

My baby girl's face is growing up so fast! She is walking.. well maybe I should say running... ears pierced, 8 BIG teeth, eating mexican food, blabbing on her cell phone, dancing and walking up the stairs by herself (that was scarey for me!)!!
