I Go Pee Pee Momma!

I'm almost officially out of diapers, man my parents are about to be rich!!! I went shopping with mommy for big girl panties this summer and I'm pottying like a champ. My favorite part is all of the m&m's I get to eat!

The challenge has been getting over my OCD of public restroom germs...target, portrait innovations, kroger, cool cuts, and many other places where Layla makes sure to mark her territory.

Playtime

It's been very interesting to see Layla interacting with her new baby cousins Carson and Keegan. She LOVES them so much and makes sure that they always have a paci in their mouths! I believe that she would like for all of us to leave so she could take OVER.

The best part is I don't have to buy anymore baby doll toys, now she has real baby stuff to play with and 2 live babies to care for!!

Uncle Chris spoils me!

After taking me to lunch at a fancy tea room, Uncle Chris took me for a joy ride through

League City...in the words of Layla "we went superfast!"...

Recently, my grandma "mama tice" (my mom's mother) suffered some very bad unjuries due to some falls in her own home. With the persuasion of her loved ones, she was taken to the hospital for routine checkups and doctors discovered her blood levels to be extrememly low, especially her platelet level. She was admitted to ICU where further testing was completed, then referred to MD Anderson where she was FINALLY diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia. In aplastic anemia, the bone marrow stops producing enough new blood cells. This means that you have not only a deficit of red blood cells but also a shortage of white blood cells to fight germs and platelets to help blood clot. You're at higher risk of infections and uncontrolled bleeding. Aplastic anemia is a rare disease, occurring in only 1 to 2 persons for every million in the United States. That means somewhere between 300 and 600 new cases will develop each year. It affects people of all ages and all races.
