Happy birthday to you Layla!

Saturday was quite an eventful day for Layla at Jump N Jungle. She had a blast with all of her family and friends! We could hardly get her to stop for a second to take a picture. We're excited to start our summer with all of her new toys - baby dolls, books, bubbles, water toys, and lots of clothes!

I'm not sure if I would call it "terrible two's" just yet, but here are Layla's list of them...
1. I not momma's baby anymore, I a big girl mommy

2. mommy go away, I fix it

3. no I not

4. go away, I do it

And my favorite phrase right now....

"god is good, god is great" as she holds her little tiny chubby hands together in a prayer clasp (coming soon on video!)

When I look at my Layla, I think to myself, man God is good!

Almost 2!

On May 21st, our baby girl will be 2 yrs old!! The days have flown by in the blink of an eye and are filled with so many moments of laughter and some tears. We will cherish every year. Enjoy looking at my BIG girl, formerly my little baby, although she always will be. (we think she might have a little bit of craziness from her mommy-she's such an entertainer!)

Moody Gardens

Layla LOVES the Aquarium at Moody Gardens. She was ready to jump in with the penguins.

This girl can eat. We tried to close the box of leftover pizza and she got upset and asked for more. She even started dipping her piece in the ranch just like her Aunt Sarah.

Kemah is right in our backyard only 5 mins away from our neighborhood and it has now become Layla's 2nd home! She loves it all - the train ride, the carousel ride, sting rays, boats, cheese pizza, people watching, and the dippin dots ice cream.
